SCAFFOLDER has died after falling from escalator at west yorkshire indoor ski complex.
thomas garnham, 21, had been drinking with pals when it is believed he mounted banisters on the 20-foot escalator at Xscape and fell.
Dad kevin, 48 said: "He was an outgoing guy, prankster. He was hard working and loved his job as a scaffolder. He had a lot of respect for heights because of his job- but that's whats alcohol does for you "his mates did not even see what happened.
"They came out of one pub at top of Xscape. It looks like he's tried to slide down the banisters of the escalator. They think he just lost his balance and he has fallen down on to the concrete."
