SCAFFOLDER has died after falling from escalator at west yorkshire indoor ski complex.
thomas garnham, 21, had been drinking with pals when it is believed he mounted banisters on the
20-foot escalator at Xscape and fell.
Dad kevin, 48 said: "He was an outgoing guy, prankster. He was hard working and loved his job as a
scaffolder. He had a lot of respect for heights because of his job- but that's whats alcohol does
for you "his mates did not even see what happened.
"They came out of one pub at top of Xscape. It looks like he's tried to slide down the banisters of
the escalator. They think he just lost his balance and he has fallen down on to the concrete."
We never knew that morning,
What hurt that day would bring,

We couldn't do a thing,

Hey bud, hows things with grandad? Guess your lucky in one respect as your the first of us gran kids who's got to spend any time with him. Say hi to him from us all. Miss ya pal, still hurts today as much as it did when we lost u. Love ya buddy.

Hi mate wish we could turn the clock . was just looking at photo's of you . I will never forget the phone call from one of the lads it was hard to go down to your mum's and dad's to tell them to go to you i will never forget that night or never forget you.Everyone misses you more than you no .
I know i had not seen you for ages but i have so many good memorys for when we was kids.I wish i came up to see you more and had more recent memorys of you.Proud to have a cousin like you,you a good part of the family and always will be.Also cant believe im saying this with me supporting man utd but good luck to leeds in the playoffs.

funeral speach we wrote for thomas
we were once scared of the unknow and by that i mean in both life and death. always worried what was going to happen in the future but now we are not scared, because your now our guardian angel and we know you wont let anything bad happen to us. we are not scared of death anymore because we know you will be waiting and welcoming us, that can never be a bad thing. we are comforted by knowing you will be with grandad granham bet hes spoiling you. he will look after you, give him a hug and kiss from us.
we know we never said it and certainly didnt show it but we always love you so much, its better late than never to tell you.we feel empty and we are absolutely devasted will go as far to say we are heartbroken. you were more like are big brother than are little brother cos you always looked after us. we are proud of the man you became and everything you achieved in such a short time. we will always remember all the laughter and tears we shared together. our family wil never be complete again without you.
we will miss your big cheesy grin life wont be the same without you. do us a big favour and watch over lee in his troublesome years. lee loves you so much even though he cant say it, you will always be his uncle tom. we know you'll step up and look after lee we can always rely on you.
you will hear this now and wonder why we havent said goodbye. well the reason for this is first we cant and the second we dont need to because you are never going to leaves us, you will always live on in our hearts. we wont be a stranger and promise you now we will both visit you often and let you know whats going on.
we would like to thank everyone for coming today to say farewell to thomas. we appreciate all the cards, flowers and the support we have recieved so thank you all. finally to thomas sleep peacefully till we all meet again we love you x

You will be sadly missed and you was a great friend and i have some brilliant memorys of ya.
My heart goes out to his family he was massively loved and where ever he is now i hope hes got his golf clubs.
we once smashed a window with his golf ball which had his name on it he tryd denying it a good laugh.
He had a cracking sense of humour and i will miss him just wish i could of seen him in the last couple of years and i hope to see him again.
